Stephen Matthew Passaro

On Tuesday, October 7th, God's little angel, Stephen Matthew Passaro ascended into Heaven to be with the Lord. Although he was with us for only a short time, he brought with him a lifetime of love. He will always be in our hearts. God bless our beautiful son.

A precious life was given to us through God's wonderful grace,
We nurtured and care for you as if we had already seen your face.
You were the one, the one we had waited for...
That longing for someone to love would be there no more.
You came into this world before your time and struggled for life so you could save ours,
From this emptiness that could only be filled by one with so many powers,
To heal our wounded souls and place a memory of love where there was none before.
The memory of one to treasure forever of the son that made our hearts soar,
To a place of happiness beyond compare to anything this world has to offer.
And brought peace and joy to our hearts so we would never have to suffer,
The pain of disappointing loss and anguish of the fear,
Of never having seen someone so pure and innocent and dear.

Besides his parents, Steven and Veronica L. (Mellen) Passaro, of Danbury, he is survived by paternal grandparents, Peter and Adelaide (Lollie) Passaro of Deltona, Florida; maternal grandmother, Patricia MacDonald of Garland, Texas; grandfather, Richard Hunt of Trumbull; and maternal great grandmother, Hazel Brzoska of Danbury; Godparents, Michael Passaro and Kristin Castellano. He is also survived by several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by grandfather, George Greenwood.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be private with burial in Great Plain Cemetery. The Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, is in charge of arrangements.
