Joyce was my favorite teacher at CCMT in Westport! I loved her sense of humor and her intelligence. Her humanistic qualities, she exhibited, while working with all of us, came through every
time something new had to be taught! She always had a huge, beautiful smile on her face! She loved us unconditionally! The world of Massage is a better place, because she showed, all of us the right path to take! Thank you for sharing Joyce with the world!

I just want to extend my deepest apologies for your loss of a great woman. Joyce worked wonders in the classroom. For a short time this past semester, we had the privilege of having her as our teacher. I know I can speak for all of us when I say we were very blessed to have her.
Again, I'm extremely sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.

Rest in Peace, Joyce.

Our deepest sympathies to Ali and all of Joyce's family and friends. Joyce was our neighbor and friend. Always smiling and kind, an amazing woman. After all that she had been through Joyce still had such joy in her heart. You could see it on her face and hear it in her laughter. I used to call her the Bionic Woman because she was such a strong person. Joyce, we will miss you so much. You fought your battle with strength and dignity and we hope you are at Peace now in the loving arms of your family in heaven. Much love, Rich, Debbie and Nicholas DeBlasi

My deepest sympathy to all of Joyce's family and friends. I had the great fortune to have known Joyce as a fellow teacher at CCMT. She also worked in my massage office in Westport for a while. She was an incredibly skilled therapist, a knowledgeable and giving teacher, and an amazing woman and friend with the most wonderful heart and soul. She was truly a gift in my life and a gift to all whose lives she touched. We will miss you. God's Grace on your continuing journey Joyce. Namaste.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Joyce's family, friends and colleagues. I was privileged to have been among her students in 2005. She was a wonderful teacher, sharing her knowledge, enthusiasm and experience. Joyce's great dignity and strength of character were apparent. May all of her students honor her memory by practicing the compassion and kindness she imparted upon us.

It was a pleasure and a privilge when I was an emergency physician at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London to work alongside Joyce. She did her job extremely well, cared about our patients and had a subtle sense of humor. Needless to say, we got along very well. 17 years ago, I landed up in the hospital with an unexpected problem. When I returned home, I will never forget that waiting for me in the mail was a parcel from Joyce. She had thoughtfully sent me a book written for patients about how to improve the condition I had holistically and naturally. I will never forget that act of kindness. Happy trails and God bless this good person whom I was fortunate to know.

Do Not Weep

Do not stand by my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awake in the morning's hush
I am the swift upflinging rush,
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night,
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there, I did not die.
